A row of small buildings of the Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico is shown from the back. Wooden ladders lead to the upper levels of the structures. The windows and doors are framed with wood. The surface of the ground is composed of large slabs of rock. Small mounds, probably ovens, stand a few feet behind the buildings. Additional mesas, including the "Enchanted Mesa," are in the distance.

The front of the Church of San Jose at the Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico has a large bell tower with two bells and a large cross. A large window is centered over the large, wooden door; a smaller entrance is in the adjacent one-story section of the church. The adobe surface is cracked in several areas, particularly above the main door and window. The church is dated at approximately 1699.

Native stone construction work done at Pueblo by WPA workers is exemplified in this foot-bridge built over Lake Clara in Mineral Palace Park. Similar stone was used in numerous WPA built structures at the State Fair Grounds and in parks.

A miner sits outside a crudely built log cabin, Gunnison, Colorado, with his pick ax and shovel. The shack is known as the Sylvester Richardson cabin and the first one in town. The structure has logs of varying sizes chinked with mud, a low sagging front gable roof, hewn log front door and window opening.

Keys of many different shapes hang on the back of a paneled door. Parts of furniture are visible of either sides of the door. There is a framed piece of embroidery with a cross, a crown, and "No no" hanging on the wall. The wallpaper is patterned with rural scenes surrounded by ornate decorative patterns.

Straw and cloth hats hanging on a hatrack are reflected in an oval mirror in the Prosser house. Sunlight illuminates the left side of the image. The mirror has a rectangular frame and scroll-work around the edges. Another mirror is visible in the reflection of the mirror. An embroidered, framed picture hangs to the right. The wallpaper has a decorative pattern on it.
A double bed in the Prosser house is illuminated by the light streaming in through the lace curtains of the window behind it. The brass headboard against the window is decorated with spindles and curved brass. The brass footboard is arched and has decorative brass pieces inside it. A quilted spread is on the bed.

View of the Denver Art Museum's Herbert Bayer sculpture, "The Articulated Wall," at the Design Center at 595 South Broadway Street in the Baker Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The 85 foot sculpture has an enormous steel mast inside that is used as an armature on which stacked horizontal concrete bars have been anchored. The bars are offset so that they weave in and out and are held in place by the top member, using just the force of gravity.
