Cripple Creek Fires, 1896

View of the Art Deco style Mayan Theater (Montana S. Fallis, architect, 1930) at 110 Broadway Street in the Speer Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The four story building is stone clad with Pre-Columbian motifs and a bas relief of a ritual officiate in multi-color terra cotta ornament by Julius P. Ambrusch of the Denver Terra Cotta Company. The marquee reads: "Oscar Winners, Room With A View, Color of Money, Hannah and Her Sisters, Radio Days, My Sweet Little Village."

Halloween In Denver, 1960-1988

Snow is piled up in front of the Assay Office of Welch and Bancroft on Eldorado Avenue in Eldora, a mining town in Boulder County, Colorado. An unidentified man sts on a log in the left midground at the base of a mound of snow where two young boys play. One of the boys holds a sled propped up on one end. The other stands above him on the pile, possibly wearing skis.
