Gilfillan, John A.
John A. (Jack) Gilfillan, John H. Kemp (father of the photographer) and J. B. Rowley sit on a log railing in front of a log cabin  in Eldora, a mining town in Boulder County, Colorado. The three men each helped found the town in the late 1890s. All three wear hats. Gilfillan and  Rowley hold newspapers in their hands, and Kemp has a cigarette in his right hand.
