What a place born Feb 1970 I remember being a kid gowing here from 1976 to 1988 man what a trip time flys. So many memories and fun times.

In 1961, a swim party there evolved to became a sock-hop dance contest for 7th graders. It was hosted by KIMN’s famous DJ Pogo Poge, and my partner Shirley and I won first place. I think our prize was a Burl Ives album. The whole Celebrity experience was special for us Denver kids.
