In collaboration with the Honorable Mayor Wellington Webb, Council Member Darrell Watson, and community leader Alton Dillard, the Denver Public Library is proud to announce the formation of the Blair-Caldwell Community Advisory Committee!
Bringing together a broad range of perspectives, the committee includes long-time Five Points residents and community leaders. Representatives are drawn from organizations such as Ktone Cares Foundation, The Fellowship Community of Vikki Buckley, Black American West Museum and History Colorado, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, and LaFynk and BrashadForColorado, among others.

The committee will meet throughout this year and serve as a bridge between DPL and the community, ensuring that the preservation, accessibility, and presentation of Black history collections reflect both professional museum standards and community values.
