It really is fitting to call your post an obituary. So sad, but also heartwarming to imagine all of the people who lived in that house over the years. Thank you for sharing.

When the lovely Victorian at 27 S Washington was demolished, I felt so sad that it reminded me of being at a funeral. What a fitting idea to write an obituary to celebrate the life of this beautiful house. Thank you Katie!

I'm currently recovering from a foot surgery and live in a lovely home built in 1907 in villa park. Im in the processes of researching the history of my home and really loved this article. If I have possible questions for resources any place I could reach out to you and ask for help? I would love your input.

Hi Megan!
We have a whole section of our site devoted to Denver building history that you'll enjoy. I would start with the Denver Building History Tutorial and the Denver Building History Resources guide. Not all building history records are online, so when you're recovered from surgery we welcome you visit the Special Collections & Archives department at Central Library. In the meantime, you can also reach us through our Contact Us form.
