There was a Chinese restaurant across the street from the Colorado State bank on Broadway. I think it was called Leo’s Place. The food was so so. It was a weird place.

Duffys Irish Pub was not far from there. Great beef tips for a quick and cheap lunch.

Does anyone remember the pitas with thin shaved ham, onion and the red sauce ...the place stayed busy. I wish I remembered the name of it?

Brian, I'm not sure if you are still responding to these comments. However, I am interested in the book. How many restaurants do you mention in the book by name and/or by location?

Also, I am trying to find out the name of a restaurant and/or fern bar/restaurant that was on 18th Street (I think) in downtown Denver in the late 1970s that had wooden floors, was open at around 6:30 a.m., and played soft jazz from a local jazz radio station. Thanks.
