Does anyone remember a Beat Nick place called the Purple Onion or the Green Onion, in and around 1961 at 12th or 13th and Clarkson or around there?

I can still salivate over the taste of the BBQ sauce used at Rich Burgers off 14th Ave and Krameria. I would love to find the sauce recipe used for those great char broiled burgers!

Does anyone remember a restaurant called Rossi's, which was in some warehouses below Union Station? Great authentic Italian cooking.

There was a Chinese restaurant across the street from the Colorado State bank on Broadway. I think it was called Leo’s Place. The food was so so. It was a weird place.

Duffys Irish Pub was not far from there. Great beef tips for a quick and cheap lunch.
