The Apprentice of Peace Presents: Tai Chi for the Whole Family
Tai Chi for Better Balance
Bi Weekly, Mondays and Wednesdays, June 1 - July 8, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
The Apprentice of Peace team is back and offering another 6 week program focused on Tai Chi methods that improve balance. This integrative approach strengthens the body —including bone strength, joint stability, cardiovascular health, immunity as well as focuses the mind and emotional well-being.
Tai Chi for Kids
Tuesday, June 9 - July 28
The Apprentice of Peace team offers a unique way to engage kids using Tai Chi movements, philosophies and principles. Participants will learn how to breathe, relax, and respond to pressure through Tai Chi Push Hands as well as incorporate the AOP principles that focus on common sense, social responsibility and peacekeeping.
All ages welcome. No registration required.

Poetry & Pancakes is a monthly writing workshop open to all ages. Each program is coordinated by the award-winning and Denver-based literary organization Slam NUBA all to the tune of a wonderful breakfast.

Slam NUBA is a nationally recognized award-winning organization that focuses on literacy, mentorship and competitive based poetry. The mission of Slam NUBA is to promote the creation and performance of poetry, by cultivating literacy activities and engaging the community, fixated on the power of the written and spoken word in Denver, Colorado.
Engage programming is adult and family programming located at branch libraries throughout the city of Denver. These programs include crafting, music, history, authors and more.
