Market Street's troubles are nothing new

My father inherited Premier Tire from John E Ahlborg the founder of the company after his passing, we had 5 buildings on Market street full of tires, 2134 Market Street was a house of prostitution, we had a old photo of it hanging in the office, it is where we kept our airplane line of tires. The Spray Coffee and Spice building we also owned, the basement of that building gave everyone the creeps, as well as the old cat house, very uneasy feeling about it. I'd bet money there is a tunnel under that building, it had a strange section of concrete that looked nothing like the rest of it, like it covered up something. Love old Denver articles.

Enjoy reading about Market St. I was trying to find out if 372 Holladay St. still existed today, come to find out it is probably Market St. Any idea if that building is still there? At one time it was a grocer but in 1884 it was my great great grandfather's business Colorado & New Mexico Consolidated Mining & Smelting Co. Their office was at that location, would love a photo. Any clue?
