I continue to be amazed at the vast collection of information that is available about African Americans in Denver, Colorado, and the West; and, is collected and shared by Blair-Caldwell Library. As a black woman born in Sheridan, Wyoming, it really makes me very proud of my western heritage. No more, " I didn't know any black people lived......" Well, they did and they do! Thank you, Annie Nelson

Irving Andrews and Robert Rhone were law partners and have a case dedicated to them on the 2nd floor of the Blair-Caldwell Library. They both earned many accolades. Robert Rhone died at the age of 35 and was a new member of the Colorado State House of Representatives at the time. He has an Inn of Court named after him, the Rhone/Brackett Inn.
