Level 3 Cousins Gallery
Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library
The Art of Now: Yesterday Meets Today is a community art show that explores the relationship between who we were as we began our journey as artists and who we have become. While growth is not always measured by time, these expressions will give viewers an opportunity to see two points in time of the artist’s progress. Artists will show one piece of art from their early career and one piece completed in the last two years. Artists include: Alistair Bane, Joel Cook, Patricio Cordova, Ron Hicks, Rochelle Johnson, Helen Littlejohn, Irving Watts, and Rob Yancey.
Artist Talk/Closing Reception:
Wednesday, September 24, 6-8 p.m.
For more information about the exhibit, please contact Helen Littlejohn at helenwlittlejohn@gmail.com or 303 907-4589
