On November 23rd, 1984 a huge fire started in the University Hills Mall causing a massive amount of fire and smoke damage.

All Denver Public Library locations will be closed all day on Wed., Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's Day. Additionally, the following branch library locations will close early at 6 p.m. on Tue., Dec. 31: Blair-Caldwell, Montbello, Schlessman Family, and Woodbury. More information.
