Patrick Joseph Weishapl was born in Nebraska on March 17, 1919. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1949 and worked as an architect in South Bend, Indiana before moving to Denver in 1960. Weishapl worked for various architectural firms including Stearns-Rogers Architects, Fisher & Davis Architects, and Rodney S. Davis Associates before establishing his own practice. He worked on a number of residential and commercial projects. Weishapl died in Evergreen, Colorado on September 14, 2003. The collection contains several of Weishapl
’s plans and sketches, including the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Vail Valley Medical Center, Boulder Memorial Hospital, and many residences in the Denver area.
