I believe that I have an Austin J40 "pedal car" that was once a part of a carousel ride at the Lakeside Amusement Park. I was told by the gentleman that sold me the J40 that it was once a part of a small carousel that had two J40s and two motorcycles, the gentleman broke up the ride and sold off the four little vehicles, I bought the last one.
I have spent over $10,000 and three years working with my granddaughter Kaia who is now 6 years old to turn the little J40 into a key start, gas powered car. See Kaia's Austin J40 on YouTube to see the car being transformed.
