Even if you are unable to locate a photograph of a building, you may be able to find photographs showing similar architectural styles and elements that can aid in preservation and/or restoration. Some sources at the Library that will help to identify these are listed on the Bibliography page.

After you have identified some key elements or the style of your building, try searching on terms such as these:
