Newspaper Microfilm Goes Back to History Colorado
Film arriving in 2010 - the process is being reversed.
The extensive newspaper microfilm collection that has been on loan to the Denver Public Library since April of 2010 is no longer available. The many thousands of reels in dozens of cabinets were returned to History Colorado and will become available there after January 11, 2012 by setting up an appointment. After six months of silence and still-life there is once again construction activity on the 5th level of the Central Denver Public Library.
Mystery Kazoo Found at DPL
After nearly a month of clues on Thisisaclue this prize was found when the puzzle pieces were put together.
Nearly a month of clues had been posted in a puzzle that brought several teams into the Central Denver Public Library. On Saturday June 26 Jeff and Jackie Bradley put together a cryptic clue that had been posted in the midst of last months contest and found the book containing the kazoo on a shelf at the Central Library. Congratulations!

Bike to Work Day a Big Hit at DPL

About twice as many DPL emplyees as usual took advantage of the Bike to Work Day hospitality spots along their route to the Central library across from Civic Center Park on Wednesday June 23rd.
