Denver native Evelyn Runnette was born in 1903. She was a librarian, outdoorswoman, traveler, and among many other things, an avid scrapbooker.
Her scrapbooks (collection WH1008) span the years 1914-1925, and include photographs, hand-written notes and journal entries, programs, invitations, clippings, drawings, postcards, and other great memorabilia. They are beautiful, detailed and inspiring accounts of her time spent at East High School, [15] the University of Denver [16], and beyond.
