Here are some wonderful shots of the Jodimars Band when they visited Denver in 1956. The band was formed from the disgruntled members of the Bill Haley & His Comets after a salary dispute. The name was derived from the first letters of each of the founding members, Joey Ambrose, Dick Boccelli and Marshall Lytle. Other members included, Chuck Hess, Jim Buffington and Max Duffner. The group's few minor hits were “Well Now Dig This” and “Let’s All Rock Together". They were also the first Rock and Roll act to take up residence in Las Vegas showrooms.
