Manuscript Monday: Evelyn Runnette
Denver native Evelyn Runnette was born in 1903. She was a librarian, outdoorswoman, traveler, and among many other things, an avid scrapbooker.
Her scrapbooks (collection WH1008) span the years 1914-1925, and include photographs, hand-written notes and journal entries, programs, invitations, clippings, drawings, postcards, and other great memorabilia. They are beautiful, detailed and inspiring accounts of her time spent at East High School, the University of Denver, and beyond.
