Come Celebrate Preservation Week! April 25th from 10:30-3pm

Preservation week!

To celebrate Preservation Week, the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists and the Denver Public Library Western History/Genealogy Department are providing short consultations for your family treasures with conservation experts.*  Archivists at the “Ask an Archivist” table will be able to talk about organizing and storing your family materials at home.

Staff from the Denver Public Library Western History/Genealogy Department will be on hand to digitize your artifacts as part of the new Colorado social archive Creating Your Community. We can scan up to three items no larger than 8.5" x 11.7", a USB drive will be provided.

To guarantee a session with a conservator, make a reservation through srmapreservation@srmarchivists.org or call 303-275-2214. Walk-ins are welcome as time allows.

*experts in the conservation of books, paper, photographs, textiles, paintings and objects will be available. Objects larger than 36" can not be accommodated
