Great post, Noel! I thought of "Dotsero," the central point in the state's survey, and "Nucla," the uranium town. "Hygiene" was a tuberculosis sanatorium town. Another wierd thing about names in Colorado is people who still say "Pee-eblo" for Pueblo, or "Byuna Vista" for Buena Vista or even worse, just "Byoonie." Thanks for a great entry!
