Snow on July 4th? Who would have thought? Here we have a photograph of snow covered streets in Altman, Colorado on a July 4th, in the early part of the 19th century. Snow still exists, at least in the winter, but the town of Altman is long gone. For more information about this photo, click here. For more unique and weird photographs, see our Digital Collections. From the staff at DPL and WHG, we wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July!
