This historical and often hysterical reference/art book is for those who want to know more about the history of outhouses. From ancient Egypt, Japan and Colorado..to name a phew. The author Dori Hutson, was a Colorado fine art and commerical artist who grew up on a homested farm in eastern Colorado.

She had a close relationship with outhouses growing up and shares her wry sense of humor and artistic talents to give you a privy history lesson. She was also my Great-Grandmother, so I am happy to share a bit of my family history with you!
