Celebrate Lincoln Hills February 25th at 2pm with History Colorado, Denver Public Library, and Zion Baptist Church at the Blair Caldwell Library
Submitted by jseemill on Wed, 02/15/2012 - 6:43pmOn Saturday, February 25 at 2pm, join State Historian Bill Convery for a sneak peak of the Lincoln Hills exhibit at the brand-new History Colorado Center, opening on April 28. History Colorado education program developer donnie l. betts will preview a museum theater piece he has created for the Lincoln Hills exhibit. This free program will take place in the second floor reading room.
History Colorado, Denver Public Library and Zion Baptist Church are collecting stories and images related to Lincoln Hills for the Creating Your Community website that will launch on March 20th. Creating Your Community is a social archive where you can explore, get connected and share your stories and photos about Colorado. Please bring your Lincoln Hills photos to the program*. DPL staff will digitize your photos for you. (*we can scan up to three items no larger than 8.5” X 11.7”, a USB drive will be provided)
