Goodbye John

I worked with John in Denver and remember him well. John was the real deal...accomplished ski racer, war hero, and ski industry pioneer.

John always had a kernel of wisdom to share about life, women, or whatever topic you wanted to discuss. He was a genuinely good man and I am happy to have known him. A little cantankerous at times he was never at a loss for words. He never boasted about his past and was a humble and caring person.

I also believe he was on the first people to have skied down Tuckerman's Ravine on Mt. Washington

Rest in peace John.
