The annual thank you luncheon for docents and volunteers was held recently in the basement conference room of the Denver Public Library. 

Glenn Scott has been volunteering in the Western History Department for a record 47 years was thanked by City Librarian Shirly Amore. His contributions to the department and those of other volunteers have made many of the unique projects and finding aids possible. Searchable marriage records, obituaries and other family history oriented items are the result of their committment to history and the library. Other long term projects are waiting for volunteers too.
