Special Advance Screening of "We Shall Remain"

Join Rocky Mountain PBS and the Denver Public Library on Monday, May 4, for a free advance screening of episode five of "We Shall Remain."

A five-part documentary in the acclaimed PBS American Experience series, "We Shall Remain" examines the experiences of native peoples from earliest contact to the present day.

Episode Five examines the 1973 occupation of Wounded Knee, South Dakota, by members of the American Indian Movement (AIM), a pivotal event in contemporary Indian politics.

An audience discussion with Jay Grimm of the Denver Indian Center will take place immediately following the film.
