Since the Shawnee political leader Tecumseh was central to the second episode of We Shall Remain, take a look at some of the Tecumseh biographies we have here at the Denver Public Library, including works by John Sugden and R. David Edmunds. And don't Gregory Evans Dowds's A Spirited Resistance: The North American Indian Struggle for Unity, 1745-1815, for a perspective on the role of Tenskwatawa, often known as the Shawnee Prophet, who was Tecumseh's brother.
