Visit the exhibit to learn about how Denver Health has played a crucial role in sustaining a standard of health care that has resulted in Denver’s reputation as one of our nation’s healthiest cities.

There has long been a connection between illness and poverty. Public hospitals have always served the role of caring for society’s most vulnerable citizens.

February 16th will find the newly renovated Starbucks at Grand Hyatt Denver showcasing images from DPL's Historic Photo Collections! Proceeds from the day will be donated to DPL!

 

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage in Colorado

The Western History and Genealogy Department is home to an ample collection of papers and records of Hispanic individuals and organizations in Colorado, including Federico Pena, Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales, Polly Baca, Bernie Valdez, Su Teatro, and LARASA.

These collections include original correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, founding documents, meeting minutes, and much more.

The Western History and Genealogy Department does a number of displays but one of particular interest is the Rodolfo 'Corky' Gonzales Display that is going up in June of 2009.
